Stop Motion Puppets

I was inspired to make puppets for my stop motion animated films. The puppets can be simple like made of clay or more complex like hand sewed. As an artist, I’ve found that the intersection of technology and creativity was a perfect combination through a 3D printer. I was inspired to explore the process of making 3D Designed and 3D Printed action figures. Exploration of New Materials: The ability to experiment with various materials, from plastics to metals and even biomaterials, inspired me to push the boundaries of my artwork. This piece is from my original graphic novel and his name is “Night Terror.” The size is 36 X 12 and I created this action figure with a 3D Printer, with thermoplastics, Hand painted, Custom Action Figure, original character with the uniform made with foam. His colors reflect the moon, his costume has hues of blue, white, black and gray.
